Hi there! I’m Frannie and I live in England. I am lucky enough to be starting as a remote Happiness Engineer at Flywheel this year.

I was prompted by my new role in customer support to read ‘Delivering Happiness’ by Tony Hsieh. It left me pondering the question below, which he asks at the end of the book:

‘What is the net effect of your existence on the total amount of happiness in the world each day?’

Tony Hsieh

It is more important than ever to consider the ripple effect of our actions, most notably upon the planet. Therefore, just as Dumbledore uses the Pensive as a keeper of memories, I have created this blog to remind myself about what I should do and value.

“I use the Pensieve. One simply siphons the excess thoughts from one’s mind, pours them into the basin, and examines them at one’s leisure. It becomes easier to spot patterns and links, you understand, when they are in this form.”

Dumbledore, from ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ by JK Rowling.

As a Happiness Engineer, I will be able to leave something a little better than how I found it, or improve a situation for someone. It all starts with the faraway, exotic location of Omaha, and daring adventures with DNS and WordPress. Throw in some waggy tails too, and I think that I just might have found a great way to Stay Fly.
